Due to the current Covid restrictions, we will be offering Zoom classes only. Once we are allowed to start up our in person classes we will do so immediately; however we will continue to offer Zoom classes for those students that are enjoying working out from home.
There will be no class on Monday February 15, Family Day Holiday.

Since the announcement of fitness centers being moved up to stage 2 of Alberta's Relaunch Strategy, we have been working towards the Alberta Health Services guidelines in order to keep everyone safe.
Those returning students may notice that the class schedule has changed. This is to accomodate enhanced cleaning and sanitation measures between classes. We are also capping the amount of participants in each class to maintain the required 6 feet of spacing between each student. There are just a couple of the changes we've made to ensure your health and safety.

Beginner participants will learn the proper form, techniques and breathing to master the Swing, Turkish Get-Up, Windmill, Clean and the Snatch while getting a workout at the same time! Experienced participants will apply the foundational exercises they've learned in a fun and highly effective workout.
Kettlebell classes are a great way to get a fun and varied whole body workout in a short period of time.

Lori's classes run two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, in class and via ZOOM.
4:00-5:00pm, 5:30-6:30pm, 7:00-8:00pm, and 8:30-9:30pm
Maria is a Certified Kettlebell instructor for StrongFirst and Agatsu Kettlebell who holds certification in Alberta Fitness Leadership and Group Exercise training. She aims to help people live stronger, healthier and happier lives with Kettlebell training. Not only will Kettlebells build your cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength it will also improve flexibility, coordination, and core strength. Kettlebell training is functional training that is accessible and practical for all, from the elite athlete looking for an edge to the sedentary person looking to discover fitness for the first time.
Loriattended Baron Baptiste Power Yoga teacher training in Hawaii and it was life changing. I then earned my AFLCA (Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification of Association) for Personal Training and Group Exercise Training. At this time I was introduced to Kettlebells, and again, I fell in love! I completed the AGATSU Kettlebell Certification, then the RKC (Russian Kettlebell Challenge) Certification, and received my 200 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. As a passionate student always looking to evolve and to grow, I took the Level 2 RKC Certification, the WKC (World Kettlebell Club) Certification and completed a 500 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Guatemala.
