The next Kettlebell session begins on Monday February 27th, ending on Thursday April 13th, with classes twice weekly for 7 weeks. No classes on Monday April 10th and Thursday March 9th.

Since the announcement of fitness centers being moved up to stage 2 of Alberta's Relaunch Strategy, we have implemented Alberta Health Services guidelines in order to keep everyone safe.
Restriction Exemption Program
In our effort to keep our Kettlebell classes going while limiting the risk of Covid-19 exposure we have decided to take part in the Restriction Exemption Program. As of September 20, 2021 we require all participants and instructors to have at least 1 vaccine and by October 30th, 2021 to be double vaccinated in order to attend in person classes, proof of vaccination will be required.
Those returning students may notice that the class schedule has changed. This is to accomodate enhanced cleaning and sanitation measures between classes. We are also capping the amount of participants in each class to maintain the required 6 feet of spacing between each student. There are just a couple of the changes we've made to ensure your health and safety.
Kettlebells are highly effective for burning fat and building strong lean muscle while being easy on the joints. Get fit fast with this amazing workout.
Beginner participants will learn the proper form, techniques and breathing to master the Swing, Turkish Get-Up, Windmill, Clean and the Snatch while getting a workout at the same time! Experienced participants will apply the foundational exercises they've learned in a fun and highly effective workout.
Kettlebell classes are a great way to get a fun and varied whole body workout in a short period of time.
Maria and Alex will be running classes Monday to Thursday as well as Zoom online classes.

Maria is a Certified Kettlebell instructor for StrongFirst and Agatsu Kettlebell who holds certification in Alberta Fitness Leadership and Group Exercise training. She aims to help people live stronger, healthier and happier lives with Kettlebell training. Not only will Kettlebells build your cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength it will also improve flexibility, coordination, and core strength. Kettlebell training is functional training that is accessible and practical for all, from the elite athlete looking for an edge to the sedentary person looking to discover fitness for the first time.
Alex is a certified Kettlebell instructor who has been practicing Competition and Hard Style Kettlebells for over 10 years. He is also an accomplished Muay Thai fighter who competed for many years and now continues to coach the up and coming generation of mixed martial artists at Frank Lee's Muay Thai gym. With over 20 years of fighting experience Alex attributes part of his success in the ring to his Kettlebell training, not only is it joint friendly but it also helped Alex gain the strength and endurance needed to win.
